Amira El-Sayed is a former fragrance industry consultant who spent a decade within the clinical boardrooms of major Western perfume houses. Despite her access to the worldā€™s most expensive formulations, she was struck by a frustrating reality: modern luxury was being "designed to disappear."

Drawing on her heritageā€”her grandfather was a master attar in the Levantā€”Amira left the corporate world to reclaim the "secret world" of scent.
